Athletes are always finding new ways to prank their teammates and the tricks only increase around Halloween. Most of the time these pranks involve someone hiding behind something and popping out to surprise them, and that’s exactly what Carolina Hurricanes captain Justin Williams did on Tuesday afternoon.
As members of the Canes showed up for their Tuesday night home matchup against the Boston Bruins, they found themselves on the wrong end of their captain’s prank.
The Canes’ captain hid behind and in whatever he could to keep him out of sight as the players made their way down the hallway and ended up pranking Curtis McElhinney, Teuvo Teravainen, Dougie Hamilton, Petr Mrazek, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Warren Foegele and Micheal Ferland. All of them were scared on different levels, but it looked like he scared Teravainen the most.
