The young Maple Leafs core is not afraid to shoot their shots. On the ice, or off the ice with their chirps.

Friday, the Leafs and the Capitals were both supposed to take part in a practice outdoors at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, but due to windy conditions, things were moved indoors.

Although, the Leafs practiced indoors, the crazy outdoor conditions were still on the players' minds ahead of Saturday's Stadium Series game. While speaking with reporters, Nazem Kadri took the opportunity to comment on the weather and chirp his teammate, Jake Gardiner, all in one comment.\

Perhaps that was a little bit of revenge on Kadri's part for when the team clowned his basketball skills.

Don't let Kadri's solid jab distract you from the fact that it was actually incredibly windy, and that Saturday's game could get real interesting if the unpredictable conditions continue. As for whether or not the Leafs are worried about, Morgan Rielly pretty much summed things up when he said, "there's two teams that have to deal with it, so we're not too worried about it."
