The Los Angeles Clippers are moving out of Staples Center, and they’re having a party about it!
On Friday, the Clippers announced a new partnership with Intuit that includes a new dome, to be ready for the Clippers to move into ahead of the 2024 season. While the Staples Center is an iconic building to be moving away from, it will definitely help to distinguish a home court advantage. It’s hard to feel truly at home when another team – the Lakers – also calls it home, you know?
As part of the launch party, the organizers had pop band Fitz and the Tantrums sign on for a live performance. The only issue with that, it REALLY seems to not be the vibe of two key note guests.
You know, Clippers superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul Geroge.
Could these two look any less impressed?
The clip went viral as the latest video in which Leonard shows absolutely zero emotion during a high-energy moment, but the addition of PG13 to this particular clip sends it over the top. Certainly not the clip you would want to show in your promotional content for the new stadium.
Instead maybe show this cool clip with George and Leonard narrating:
Yep, that’s much better.
