We don’t normally think of Kawhi Leonard’s fashion style as all that loud — he’s sponsored by New Balance! — but this unusual t-shirt that he arrived for the Clippers’ Thursday game definitely made a statement.

Where did Kawhi get this shirt, you may ask? No, it isn’t some avant-garde fashion from a high-end designer brand. (In the NBA, you never know.) Some kids made it for Kawhi as thanks for the backpacks he donated in the summer!

The shirt is filled with drawings and quotes, including “Be kind always,” “A good name will shine forever,” and what looks like a drawing of Kawhi dunking on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the playoffs. A classic.

This stems from Kawhi's donation, in partnership with the L.A. Clippers Foundation and local non-profit Baby2Baby, of new backpacks and other back-to-school necessities for one million students in the Southern California region.
