Phil Kessel has established himself as one of the top-scoring wingers in the NHL, due in large part to his calm and cool demeanor. But much like Kessel's success, that didn't happen overnight. He's been having fun and enjoying the ride since day one.

Thursday, Under Armour shared an image of a young Kessel, hoisting a trophy during his days as a young player in the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association.

While the photo is definitely cool, the best part of the post has to be Kessel's sound advice for up and coming hockey players: "have fun and enjoy the ride." At the time of the writing of this post, Phil Kessel is a two-time Stanley Cup champion. So, it's safe to say that his fun first philosophy has worked wonders for him.

Is this not the look of a man who's having the time of his life while excelling at the game he loves? Be Like Phil.
