Kevin Garnett was a tough guy to play against because he never backed down from anyone and was as physical as could be, but when you get inducted into the Hall of Fame you’re bound to get a little emotional and show your softer side that hides within you.

Garnett was one of the basketball legends inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday evening.

During his speech he thanked the fans who booed him throughout his career, but also thanked Tim Duncan and Rasheed Wallace for battling it out with him and taking it to another level.

The 15-time NBA All-Star also shared what an honour it is to be entering the Hall with greats such as Tim Duncan and Kobe.

Garnett won the NBA title in 2008, the NBA MVP in 2004, Defensive Player of the Year in 2008, named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team nine times, the NBA All-Defensive Second Team three times, was a four-time rebounding champion, named to the All-NBA First Team four times, the All-NBA Second Team three times and the All-NBA Third Team two times.
