Kamil Fazylzyanov has been making his way up the ranks in Russia’s professional hockey system and now he’s a member of Ak Bars Kazan.

Heading into the season the 21-year-old defenceman had just 38 games, one goal and three KHL assists to his name, but through 15 games with his new club he’s already up to two goals and five points in just 15 games.

This past Saturday, Fazylzyanov picked up his second goal of the season and we’re pretty sure it’s the easiest goal he’s ever scored in his life.

It wasn’t the game-winning goal, but it was definitely an important marker because Ak Bars Kazan ended up edging Barys Nur-Sultan, 3-2, in regulation.

It never hurts to throw the puck on net, even if it’s from your own zone.
