In fact, when it comes to basketball specifically, Kobe has given advice to players when they've asked him and he's even challenged certain players ahead of the 2017-18 season to accomplish a specific goal.

Not only is Kobe helping and challenging NBA players, but he's also helping his 11-year-old daughter Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant by going one-on-one with her on his personal court.

Gigi has some serious skills and with Kobe there to teach her and mentor her, there's no telling how far she'll go.

Kobe is also a big WNBA fan and supporter, and he's explained why the WNBA is so important for the growth of basketball in the past.
