Chirping that happens between opponents is something that happens in every sport.

Competition brings out the best in players and competition also brings out the chirps, too.  In the heat of competition, it seems like chirping and jawing back and forth is sometimes inevitable.

Some people enjoy the chirping and the mocking, but not everyone does, especially when it involves fans.

On Friday night in Seattle, for example, the fans and commentators didn't appreciate Kyle Pow of the Kelowna Rockets pointing to the scoreboard after fighting Mike MacLean, and then mocking the fans once again after leaving the ice.

Pow and MacLean were both given fighting majors and game misconducts after the fight.

As we said before, not everyone will agree with Pow's antics and although taunting the crowd isn't kind in the slightest, sometimes emotions get the best of players and they do things they regret.  Kelowna went on to win the game 6-2 and Pow recorded an assist in the win.
