There’s still over a month left in the NBA regular season but fans have already started to do their part when it comes to recruiting NBA superstar LeBron James.

The four-time NBA MVP is set to become a free agent this summer and it’s going to be quite the offseason if he decides not to return to Cleveland like he did following the 2009-10 season. With the Cavs set to play the Clippers on Thursday and the Lakers on Sunday in Los Angeles, a fan took advantage of the team’s lone trip to California by purchasing four billboards around LA in an attempt to recruit LeBron to the Lakers.

Rumours of LeBron James joining the Lakers stem back to last offseason, but now the talks are going to heat up as his decision day is right around the corner.

Last week, a few billboards went up in Cleveland in an attempt to recruit LeBron to the Sixers, but Cavs fans were quick to respond to those by putting up some of their own.

No one knows where LeBron will be playing next season, but if it’s anywhere but Cleveland you can expect a few riots in Cavs country.
