If there are two things that NBA players cannot get enough of this season, it is custom designed shoes and viral video games. Just last week Karl Anthony-Towns, a noted wearer of custom kicks, battled it out in PUBG alongside Ben Simmons. Meanwhile, Frank Kaminsky touted himself in a tweet as the NBA’s best Fortnite player.

So it came as no surprise on Tuesday night when Indiana Pacers’ guard Lance Stephenson combined gaming and basketball to debut a custom pair of Fortnite themed

shoes.

The blue and yellow kicks were custom designed by artist Kickstradomis, who has been a popular go to for NBA stars such as Anthony-Towns and possible rookie of the year candidate Donovan Mitchell.

Unfortunately for the Pacers, Stephenson’s sneakers failed to help them achieve a Battle Royale victory as they ultimately fell 107-104 to the Denver Nuggets.
