With the NBA season approaching the quarter-mark, the Los Angeles Lakers are starting to play better basketball.

Sitting 8-7, the Lakers trail the Houston Rockets for the eighth spot in the Western Conference. Following a slow start out of the gate, the Lakers won six of nine games before falling to the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.

After he watched his son Lonzo score zero points in 28 minutes of action, LaVar touched down in New York and appeared on Saturday Night Live, once again, where he boisterously provided some roster modifications for LeBron and the Lake Show.

Okay, obviously that's not the LaVar, but Keenan Thompson has one of the better LaVar impressions you'll ever witness.

Deep down, you know the Big Baller would love nothing more for his sons LiAngelo, LaMelo and LaMorpheus to link up with LeBron and Lonzo.

And no matter the outcomes of that hypothetical team, LaVar would be shouting out that they "neva lost."
