Whether you’re a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs or not, you have to respect the comeback they put together with less than four minutes remaining in their season.
Down 3-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets with four minutes left to play in the third and trailing the series 2-1, the Maple Leafs scored three straight goals to force in overtime, and they finished the job in the extra frame.
After scoring four unanswered goals to complete the comeback and keep their season alive, the Leafs and their fans have a new confidence heading into the fifth and final game of the season and they expressed their joy on Twitter.
If you’re part of Leafs Twitter you know just how angry and sad everyone was with just five minutes left to go, but over the next couple of minutes they watched that anger quickly turn to joy.
