There was a somber hush over Leafs Nation between Games 2 and 3 of their 1st Round matchup with the Boston Bruins. That’s because they were down 2-0 in the series, and they did not look good. Heading into Monday’s game, there was a sense of desperation in the air. In the end, it translated into motivation, and the Leafs walked away with a thrilling 4-2 victory.

The victory was in huge part due to Frederik Andersen, who stood on his head time after time to keep the Buds in it. It was all capped off with a save-of-the-year candidate that kept the Bruins down two.
