The Wikipedia bandits strike again!

Who are we kidding? We’ve all used Wikipedia as a reference at some point despite being told repeatedly that it is not reliable. It’s ALMOST reliable.

For the most part, information is correct, but the loophole – as every teacher in the history of the internet age will tell you – is that anyone has the ability to edit a Wikipedia page. For the most part, the only ones that would do this are knowledgeable sources with credible information that are looking to create an accurate and correct site. But not everyone…

We’ve seen it done before, and following the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins, we saw what the bandits are capable of:

Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Pastrnak have the Leafs’ number. It seems everytime the two sides face each other – and most notably in the playoffs – the B’s top line terrorizes the Buds mercilessly.

While they only combined for one point on Saturday night – a goal from Pastrnak – it is a well-known problem in Leaf land.

While revenge tastes sweeter than anything, Leafs fans may just be hoping to avoid the Bruins in general when playoffs come around. There’s just something about Boston…

The edit has since been switched back to the proper information.
