The San Jose Sharks have been off for the past few days as they returned home from a five-game road trip on Sunday night, but the players have been making the most of the time off by getting out into the community.

On Tuesday, Evander Kane was out and about distributing new pairs of glasses to local middle school students and on Wednesday it was Logan Couture and Brenden Dillon doing their part to give back to Sharks fans.

The Sharks duo teamed up with SJ Sharkie to surprise students at Selma Olinder Elementary School with a brand new street hockey court and it was greatly appreciated by the staff and students.

The guys weren’t just there to surprise them, though, as they also helped them break in the court with a friendly game.

It’s safe to say the Sharks definitely made the most of their three days off.
