The World Dog Surfing Championship held its third annual event in California on Saturday, which mostly blows our mind because it’s a thing that exists and has existed for three years now.

They are dogs! Who know how to surf! And compete for the glory of being the best of all dogs who know how to surf! What a time, man.

The dogs were each allotted ten minutes to catch as many waves as possible, and some of the proceeds were donated to animal and environmental welfare charities. So, you know, while the dogs were surfing, they were also fundraising for charitable causes.
