The NHL Awards are still months away, but if there were an award given for “Goalie Mask of the Year,” we don’t need to see any more. We have out winner.

Ironically playing for the Calgary Flames, Louis Domingue unveiled a new custom mask that is absolutely – you guessed it – FIRE.

Working with airbrush artist Sylvie Marsolais, Domingue will now be sporting a flaming-horse themed bucket. The mask also features an illustrated horse literally made up of flames.

On top of all of that, the mask features colour-changing paint that adjusts with temperature.

Need we say more?

Domingue isn’t the first goalie to use colour-changing technology from this artist. Earlier in the year we saw Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy unveil his own colour-changing mask.

Too dope.
