Toronto Raptors DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have become best friends over the last five years and their humorous off-court relationship is unlike any other teammate relationship in sports.
Whether it’s photobombing a photoshoot or taking family photos together during NBA All-Star Weekend, the duo knows how to have fun together both on and off the court and it’s been a huge reason for the Raptors’ turnaround over the past few years.
DeRozan turned 28 on Monday and you can bet Lowry did not settle for a simple ‘Happy Birthday’ message. Instead, he decided to have some fun at his teammate’s expense.
Not only did Lowry use a very old picture of DeRozan for his post, but he included some hilarious hashtags as well.
DeRozan saw his teammate’s post pretty quickly, and although he appreciated the shoutout, he was quick to remind his point guard that he’s going to get him back for the picture and hashtags.
The two are always having fun at each other’s expense and it never gets old.
