Ben Simmons may be an NBA superstar in the making, but that doesn't mean Kyle Lowry, a three-time All-Star, is going to treat the rookie with the same respect as a veteran player.

Monday, Lowry and Simmons got into a war of words following their ejections late in the fourth quarter in the Raptors-Sixers game. Those words seemed to suggest that they would be taking their friendly chat to the tunnel, but despite early reports, nothing transpired between the two.

Speaking after the game, Simmons continued to express that he was ready for whatever happened between him and Lowry. Well, he didn't exactly say that in so many words.

Lowry didn't back down either, going so far as to say that Simmons "thinks he's somebody."

Monday's game was the final regular season meet up between the two sides, so for anyone who's looking forward to see Lowry and Simmons part 2, you'll have to hope that the Raptors face the Sixers in the playoffs. Although, that would require the Sixers to actually make the playoffs of course.
