You can visit every city in the NHL and you most likely won’t find a single person who has a bad thing to say about Marc-Andre Fleury.

The 35-year-old was a fan favourite in Pittsburgh during his time with the Penguins, but over the past few years he’s become a fan favourite across the entire league.

On Thursday night the Golden Knights made their only trip to Ottawa and there were plenty of Golden Knights jerseys in the arena because of the goalie and former Senators forward Mark Stone. At the end of the game, Fleury spotted an aspiring goalie in the crowd and the three-time Stanley Cup champion hooked the young man up.

We’re not sure how Fleury managed to spot the sign in the crowd of people, but he made a perfect toss to get his goalie stick into the fan’s hands.

Nothing beats getting to watch your favourite player in action and heading home with their game-used stick.
