Well, Blue Jays fans, it’s definitely a bittersweet end to the season as the team’s playoff fate was decided by both the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.

A lot of baseball fans wanted to see the Jays incredibly talented and fun core compete in the postseason, especially former Blue Jays star pitcher Marcus Stroman.

The New York Mets pitcher took to Twitter to not only cheer on his past team, but he even engaged with some Blue Jays fans, making us all raise an eyebrow on what he has up his sleeve as he enters the market following two seasons with the New York Mets.

Baseball fan Karissa Hines sparked a conversation with the upcoming Free Agent that has Blue Jays fans dreaming of the potential powerhouse rotation that would be in Toronto if Stroman decided to return.

Truly, Stroman’s comments may have actually made the season-ending hurt a bit less for Jays fans.

Imagining Stroman back in Toronto alongside Alek Manoah, Robbie Ray (pending whether or not the Jays re-sign him), Hyun-jin Ryu, Steven Matz and/or Jose Berrios?

Yeah, sign us up for that.
