Mark Cuban is a man that wants to be on the cutting edge at all times.

He hears a lot of ideas come through the Shark Tank and as a result has made a lot of investments in his lifetime. We’re not sure where he heard this pitch, but apparently he’s all in on this new security system for the Mavs’ locker room.

It’s facial recognition software, but we’ll let him explain it.

"So, we’re still working on getting it up, but what’ll happen is when a player walks in or anybody walks in, we’ll have facial recognition that will take a picture of you and it’ll say ok, ‘Here comes Mark,’ ‘Here comes Dirk.’ And for any of the players or any of the staff, it’ll put coaches’ notes, here’s what you’re expected to do and tell you what’s going on.

For anybody we don’t know it’s going to be [Buzzing sounds]”.

So, from his description, not only will it help keep unwanted guests out of the locker room, but it will also provide notes and objectives for the players without having to press a button. This could be the future of all professional locker rooms and we’re excited to see it in action.
