Hockey knobs are such a personal thing.

Some players prefer a thinner tape job on the butt of their twig while others... well, enjoy a bit more grip. We've seen some weird ones in the league and Mark Stone's is definitely up there with the most obscure. Hockey fans got a nice up-and-close look at it during Vegas' overtime win over Chicago, specifically right after Stone's go-ahead goal in the second period. Not only is it as plump as a Twinkie, but it also has a single line of grip around the middle that we've never really seen before.

Just take a look.

Jeez that thing's monstrous! Look at how far the tape comes off the twig, and how many times he rolled around the top! Dude must have some gigantic mitts.

If you're looking for some more weird knobs, just check these ones out. Mark's may be the biggest, but it's definitely not the weirdest.

We've gotta give it to Brent Seabrook for the upside-down CN Tower. That's just a bold move, Cotton.

So, what do you think of Stone's knob? Pretty weird... no?
