Martin St. Louis played a big factor in helping Lightning sniper Steve Stamkos develop into the player he is today.

To show his gratefulness towards the legendary Lighting superstar, you can bet there were times when Stamkos looked after St. Louis’ three sons in their six years together down in the Sunshine State.

Stamkos’ presence seemed to have paid dividends, particularly on Mason, the youngest of the St. Louis boys. Even though his dad had his number 26 retired by Tampa, Mason decided to rock another jersey and dress up as his favourite player for Halloween.

Stamkos gave his apporval of the costume.

The 28-year-old is on a tear to start the season, and leads the NHL in points with 4 goals and 17 assists in 12 games.
