The Tkachuk brothers might just be the NHL’s best new pair of siblings.

With the Sedins out of the league, Brady and Matthew are slowly stealing the hearts of hockey fans with their unique sense of humour… and vocabulary. Brady made headlines on Thursday night after dropping the gloves for the first time with Detroit Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader. The 19-year-old opened up about the experience afterward, discussing his dad’s feelings on the tilt before revealing the conversation he had with his brother afterward. As it turns out, the Flames forward sent a pretty hilarious text message to him

Straight nails!!!!

Matthew wasn’t the only one to crack a hilarious line following the fight. Brady got the action started after listing the reason why he came to his teammate Mark Stone’s defence. Turns out the guys was just trying to save himself a rent cheque!

We just can’t wait to see the two square off on February 24th at the Canadian Tire Centre. Maybe they’ll put on their own little show for the crowd?
