Max Scherzer is one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball and has been for a very long time. Now in his 13th season, the 35-year-old has struck out more than 2,700 batters throughout his career and there are some pretty big names on that list.

On Wednesday night, Scherzer struck out 10 Toronto Blue Jays batters in his 7.1 innings of work, with one of the batters being Vladimir Guerrero Jr. What made the strikeout so significant is the fact that it came nearly 10 years to the day that Scherzer struck out Vladimir Guerrero Sr.

10 years and eight days after striking Vladimir Guerrero, Scherzer struck out his son, Vlad Jr., making for a pretty rare accomplishment.

You see something new everyday at the ballpark.
