Anybody with even just one opinion in sports has found themselves deadlocked into an argument that accomplishes nothing but to end up heated.

In that sense, we can all relate to Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin, who was in the same position — only with the added twist of being on national TV. Joining ESPN’s First Take on Monday morning to talk Monday Night Football with the panel, Irvin found himself arguing about the all-time standing of his former team and Dak Prescott with Stephen A. Smith.

It took just a minute until somebody from the crew had to come on set and mop the sweat off Irvin's forehead as he continued to yell Cowboys, undeterred. It was a lot.

We’ve never needed someone to wipe the sweat off our foreheads as we get worked up into a tizzy about Cowboys quarterbacks on national television, but, you know, broadly, we’ve been there. We’ve had sleeper picks in fantasy that we’d go Michael Irvin for.

Believe it or not, this isn’t even the first time that Irvin got his feathers ruffled on a NFL panel. In September, he got into it with Steve Smith Sr., both guys trying to boast that they had the better career as America just sat there and watched.
