Earlier this week, Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock had an interesting quote about his team's depth.  Some people took the quote as a shot at the team's GM, Kyle Dubas.

“If you have enough [depth], you don’t miss a beat and you keep on going,” Babcock said. “There are other teams that have done a better job when different players are out than we have [in] keeping on going. That just tells you what state you’re at, and you have to just keep adding better players.”

Friday, Babcock was asked specifically about his relationship with Dubas because of his comment about the team's depth and his response wasn't surprising.

If there were people concerned about Babcock and Dubas' relationship, the Leafs coach put those concerns to rest.
With the playoffs right around the corner, this was a good time to put those questions to rest and now the focus can continue to be on finishing the season strong, getting healthy and ready for the postseason.
