NHL players around the league have started to return to the ice in small groups with their teammates over the past few days.

As a way to practice social distancing while playing the game, the players are going to need to come up with other ways to celebrate their goals since they won’t be celebrating as a group, and some teams have started planning those celebrations.

On Monday, members of the Minnesota Wild hit the ice and they put a lot of their social distancing goal celebrations on display during their time out there.

Last week the Washington Capitals were doing similar things as members of the Caps practiced some goal celebrations while practicing social distancing.

There’s no guarantee that hockey will be played this year, but the players are preparing for just about anything.
