Montreal Canadiens Head Coach Claude Julien is officially in the hot seat.

The Canadiens lost 5-4 in a shootout against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday giving them their second straight loss against the North Division’s last placed team. This was definitely a game they should have won. You could say the Habs are going through a little bit of a slump.

Everyone had high expectations for Montreal this year. The Habs were truly considered cup contenders after some new players were added in the off season to play alongside their current rising stars. Despite having an impressive start to the season, they’ve struggled all of February. The Habs got bumped down in the North Division from first place to fourth place and have lost six of their last eight games.

The Canadiens will be meeting the Winnipeg Jets for the first time this season on Thursday and fans are starting to hit the panic button. A lot of fingers are pointing to Julien for not being able to lead his team in the direction that they’re more than capable of doing.

Things aren’t looking to great for the coach right now:
