A few years ago the NHL made a decision to shake up the All-Star game, they were looking for ways to make it more inclusive and fun for fans. They turned it into a 3-on-3 format, they have divisions facing off now instead of conferences and one big change was that every team would have at least one representative in the All-Star game.

However, not everyone agrees on that last part of the new format. Some fans have spoken up about this and now even player with Nathan Mackinnon even saying how he doesn’t feel everyone should be at the game either.

This comes on the heels of his teammate Nazem Kadri (a top 5 NHL scorer this season) being snubbed along with a few other notable NHL stars.
