Toronto Raptors fans are not going to like this.

Less than 24 hours after the Raptors came up short by one point against the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, the NBA announced that Marc Gasol should have been given two free throws with 49 seconds left in the game after he was fouled by DeMarcus Cousins.

At the time of the missed foul Golden State led Toronto, 106-103, and eventually went on to win, 106-105, which would have made the Gasol free throw shots that much more crucial.

It’s definitely a brutal missed call on the officials part considering it’s the NBA Finals and it ended as a one-point game, but it’s not guaranteed that Gasol would have hit both shots, so who knows how the game would have played out if they didn’t miss the call.
