The world lost Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee earlier this week and his fans around the world are still paying their respects to Lee in many different ways.  

On Wednesday night, the Brooklyn Nets hosted the Miami Heat and Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie honoured the late writer with custom kicks for the game.

The comic book-themed shoes included bits and pieces of some of the characters the New York native created over the course of his career, as well as a drawing of Lee on the side and the phrase ‘Rest In Super Powers’ on the top.
 

While the Nets didn’t end up picking up a win, Dinwiddie had himself a pretty good night as he dropped a team-high 18 points to go along with five assists and three rebounds.
