When Kawhi Leonard first arrived in Toronto, one of the first things he uttered out to his new city was that he was a "fun guy."

What followed next was the legendary laugh that instantly turned into a meme, along with a regular season that showed the Raptors were a force to be reckoned with.

In the post-season, Kawhi has shown how he's a fun guy, draining a buzzer beater shot to send the club to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Along the way, Kawhi inked a deal with New Balance, and just to make sure you haven't forgotten, a billboard has gone up in Toronto displaying the Raptors superstar along with the words "fun guy."

Located at the heart of the city, the billboard stands right at the Eaton Centre along with numerous high-profile celebrities and brands.

He's certainly not the most out-going NBA player to the market, but you have to hand it to New Balance for capitalizing on Kawhi's introverted personality. Sometimes, the best marketing strategies are derived from something inadvertent that aren't forced in any regards, and New Balance has found that proper niche.

The question now becomes, just how long with that billboard last given that his future is in limbo?
