The Toronto Raptors have been one of the most consistent teams in the league over the last couple years, both in terms of their performance and the core of the roster, but new rumours have opened the door for some major changes.
Since their emergence as the Raptors stars it has always been DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, but with an inability to get past LeBron, there seemed to be a push for change in the front office and fan base. Now that LeBron is in LA, people might think that would change something, but when news broke that the Raptors were a legitimate contender for Kawhi it’s clear they are still exploring new options.
While the rumours were never really clear on how likely a Raptors trade was, some new betting odds have set the fanbase into a frenzy.
You read that right, the Raptors are tied with the Spurs to be the most likely team that Leonard plays for in 2018-19. It’s obviously not like Josh Lewenberg or Woj has dropped some serious news about this, but people seem to listen where the money goes and it all started with the site’s head oddsmaker thinking he has an inside scoop.
Regardless of the source, Raptors fans can’t believe their eyes.
