Life is pretty good for football star Cristiano Ronaldo. Not only does Ronaldo make a combined $93 million in salary and endorsements per season, the 32-year-old is one of the greatest soccer players to ever touch down on the planet, having won four Ballon dβOr trophies, four Champions League titles and five league titles.
Back in the spring, a bust portrait of the footy star was revealed at Madeiraβs airport β known as the Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport β which the internet had a field day with.
Well, it appears that the airport finally came to their senses and had the sculpture replaced with a much more accurate representation of the striker.
Jose Antonio Navarro Arteaga was the orchestrater of it, and he received praise for the new bust.
Some even think the sculpture is more handsome than Ronaldo himself! Whatever you think, at least we can all agree this this bust is far superior, aesthetically, to the old rendition, but way more boring an uninteresting.
