NHL fans have had no shortage of surprises over the past couple of days, but Joel Quenneville losing his job in Chicago might be the most shocking of them all.

Quenneville finished his time in Chicago with a record of 452-249-96 along with three Stanley Cup wins and playoffs in every year but one (2017-18). He is very well-respected in the NHL and the sentiment around the league seems to be that he will not be without a job for very long.

A lot of fans are hoping he’s not without a job for very long either, because they want him coaching their team.

Perhaps even some fanbases that don’t exist yet will be able to snag Quenneville. They’re already dreaming of a pretty dynamic duo in Seattle.
