Bad day to be a Pens fan.

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced on Wednesday that Sidney Crosby will be missing the beginning of the 2021-22 NHL season for at least six weeks!

After dealing with a wrist injury for apparently years, Crosby was finally able to have surgery on it in September. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, the earliest date they can hope to see their captain back in the line up is around October 20.

This leaves a pretty big hole for the Penguins to fill! Let the panicking begin:

Will Crosby make it back in time before it’s too late?
