The Northeastern men's hockey team will host the University of Maine Black Bears for their annual Skating Strides Night on Friday.

Just like they’ve done in the past, the Huskies will rock some special edition pink jerseys when they take the ice for their annual Skating Strides Night.

However, this year’s edition of the jersey features a very special and personal touch.

This year’s jersey is very similar to the one they rocked last season, only this year the players will have a chance to add who they’re fighting for on the front of their jersey.

Hockey East’s Skating Strides program is entering its 11^th season and has raised nearly $400,000 towards breast cancer initiatives since its inception.
