A couple of weeks ago we didn’t know if there was going to be a 2020-21 NHL season, but now we’re just a few weeks away from the start of the regular season.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the traveling restrictions that have come from it, the divisions are going to look a little different this year, especially north of the border.

For the first time in NHL history there’s going to be an all-Canadian division, which will be known as the North Division, and oddsmakers are already predicting who’s going to come out on top.

The Toronto Maple Leafs head into the 2020-21 campaign as the favourites to win the North Division, but the Edmonton Oilers aren’t that far behind. When the season was given the green light we shared early Stanley Cup Futures Odds, which had the Maple Leafs in the top 10 and Edmonton just outside of it.*
