Niagara IceDogs goalie Tucker Tynan suffered a scary injury on Thursday night, when a skate blade cut his thigh during a collision with another player. The rest of the game was postponed by the OHL and the hockey world was quick to reach out with support.

Tynan underwent a successful surgery, and he is expected to make a full recovery. Taking to Twitter, the 17-year-old thanked fans for their support, and says he looks forward to coming back stronger.

The IceDogs have postponed their games for the weekend as the team recovers from the scary incident. Meanwhile, the well wishes for Tynan continue to roll in, with many people reaching out directly on Twitter.
