When it comes to childhood classics, there are more than a few sports-themed flicks that we can all get those nostalgic goosebumps from. The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Air Bud, and MVP are a few that come to mind. Regardless of what sport you loved growing up, Space Jam seems to be at the top of everyones list. 

Space Jam had all the elements; sports, cartoon characters, and famous athlete appearances - namely the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. Now, on the anniversary of the iconic movie and amidst all the LeBron Space Jam rumblings, we take a look back to see what could have been if the movie had decided to use a Gretzky-inspired movie - Space Puck.

 

​In a universe where Cartoon and reality rarely mix, the two worlds are forced to collide in hopes of saving everyone's favourite Saturday morning entertainment. The Looney Tunes squad has once again been kidnapped from Earth and taken away to a far away planet at the hands of fellow cartoon and notorious super villain BackClapper! In a desperate attempt to escape the clutches of this evil hockey fan, the Tune Squad must ask for the help of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky for a one-game showdown of the ages.

With the help of Gretzky, the Tune Squad hopes to take down BackClappers and his band of Goons so they can return to their comfortable spot on Saturday morning cartoons!
