It’s the summer of Ovi. DEAL WITH IT.

The Russian has been on an absolute tear since capturing his first Stanley Cup, spending each day since partying like it’s his last and literally swimming in public fountains with his fans. Ovi took his precious new trophy back home to Russia for the World Cup and has been showing it off to basically to everyone in the city. The polarizing winger caught up with Washington reporter Isabelle Khurshudyan and confirmed that his arms were feeling weary after the cup, but insisted a couple of beers would help fix the problem.

He even shared a special moment with his old man.

Beer or not, Ovechkin needed a bit of shut-eye with his baby. And by the looks of it, there was barely any room for two.

Based on the content we’ve seen so far of the 32-year-old, the last thing he needs is any more beer.
