The Ontario Hockey League playoffs got underway last week and the first round has been pretty entertaining so far.

The Western Conference’s No. 3 ranked Owen Sound Attack and No. 6 ranked Kitchener Rangers are currently going head-to-head in a series that has pretty much been all Owen Sound aside from Game 2.

Game 4 went Wednesday night in Kitchener and it was a high-scoring affair. After the Attack tied the game at 3 midway through the second period with a shorthanded goal, they took the lead less than a minute later with another shorthanded goal, only the second one was a lot nicer than the first one.

Nothing like a shorthanded lacrosse style goal to give your team the lead in the game. The player responsible for the beautiful goal is 19-year-old Petrus Palmu.

Not only did Palmu open up the scoring for the Attack in the first period, but he also added his hat trick goal less than 30 second into the third period.

The Finnish product scored 40 goals in 62 games this past season, and totaled 98 points on the year.
