Nashville Predators' P.K. Subban and Pittsburgh Penguins' Phil Kessel have a few things in common. For one, they were both traded from original six, Canadian market teams to their current clubs. Second, in the first season away from those teams, they both managed to make their way to the Stanley Cup Final (Subban this year, Kessel last season).

Kessel is back in the Stanley Cup for a second straight year, and went through a lot of what Subban is going through now last season. Of course, Kessel and his Penguins won the Cup last year, and Phil was spotted around celebrating his accomplishment.

When players win the Cup, they commonly host Stanley Cup parties when the trophy is in their possession, and Kessel apparently did just that last year. In fact, Subban told the media he dropped by Phil the Thrills big party last summer.

We agree with Subban that Kessel deserved it last year, and honestly think they both deserve it this season. But only one of the two can go home with the greatest prize in hockey, and the battle for the Cup begins on Monday.

Who do you have winning the series- the Penguins or Predators?

(H/T @Penguins)
