The NHL is still on pause and no one seems to know how and if the rest of season will shake out. Will play resume? And will there be enough time to finish this season without jeopardizing next season's?

Commissioner Gary Bettman has already said that he does not want the NHL's current status to interfere with the 2020-21 campaign. On Thursday, some familiar faces around the league shared their thoughts on what the NHL should do and we have a feeling you're not going to agree with P.K. Subban's suggestion. The 30-year-old said he'd like to see a 31-team postseason format but hey, may as well shoot your shot when your team ranks 26th in the league?

Alex Ovechkin, on the other hand, would like to see the playoffs kick off as soon as the league resumes play.

Nice try @subbanator 😂😂

Nice try P.K.!!!!

Meanwhile, his division foe Sidney Crosby shared a similar opinion to Ovechkin. Although he's like to play as many regular season games as possible, he wouldn't mind kicking the postseason off right away. He did not, however, mention anything about a change in format.

What are your thoughts on this? 🤔

The idea of a 30-team (sorry Detroit, but in no world will you be making the playoffs this year) bracket is cool but probably isn't happening. Sorry P.K. but you're going to have to wait at least another year for playoff hockey bud!
