The NHL All-Star rosters aren't fully set just yet.  There will be one player added to each division's team by way of a fan vote.  Each team has one player up for the fan vote and Patrice Bergeron is representing the Bruins.

It's obviously an honour to be selected to the All-Star game, but at this point in the season, some players would rather use the time off to rest, spend time with their family, and prepare for the upcoming playoff push.

Ahead of the "Last Men In" vote, teams and players have been campaigning for their representative to get some votes, but Bergeron is doing the opposite.

"No, not really," Bergeron told 98.5 The Sports Hub's "Toucher & Rich" when asked if he cared about winning the "Last Men In" vote. "I just had a newborn baby boy. He's a month old, so obviously that time would be nice to be home."

It's a really good reason to not want to be voted in, so we'll do our part and not vote for Bergeron in the Atlantic Division.  We imagine most Leafs fans will follow suit because they're not exactly fans of the Bruins and Morgan Rielly is very deserving of the vote, too.
