The Winnipeg Jets scraped out a 4-3 shootout win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, and they did it without getting a single shot attempt from their most prolific sniper.

For only the third time in his career, Patrik Laine failed to register a single shot attempt, not shot, on net.

As a result, Paul Maurice considerably cut down Laine's ice time.

The 10:55 Laine spent on the ice was the second lowest total he recorded in his 205-game career spread over two and a half seasons. The only other time he played with such a low amount of TOI -- 5:59 -- was when he was injured in a game against the Los Angeles Kings on March 20th, 2018.

Laine's production has dried up since he rifled off 23 goals in his first 32 games of the season, including 18 goals in the month of November alone. Over his last 18 games, Laine has just two goals and three assists with a 3.4 shooting percentage.

He's emerging as one of the NHL's streakiest goal scorers, and if he pots a couple in a row, look for the Finn to regain his scoring touch.
