Paul Bissonnette was one of the first NHL players to use social media to his advantage as he quickly became one of the most followed hockey players in the entire world.

From his hilarious chirps to his friendly jabs, the man also known as BizNasty always brings his best stuff on social media and one of his most recent comments might have landed him a new gig.

Earlier this week, Bissonnette shared a tweet about how he believes he could make a National Lacrosse League team as a walk-on without ever playing a game.

One NLL team did end up chiming in on Twitter and it was the Vancouver Warriors, who responded with a chirp.

.

Bissonnette never goes down without a fight as he and the Warriors’ social media team went back and forth. A few days later the former NHLer got a call from the team and received a PTO.

Even after the team offered him a PTO the chirps continued on social media.

It might just be a publicity stunt by the team, but it also might be the real deal, so there’s a chance we might actually see Bissonnette in the NLL next season.
